Hi,
In the instructions the fuselage skeleton is painted Blue. But can someone tell me what is the ACTUAL colour/shade to paint? And will this colour be used to paint the wing ribs etc?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you Confused
Tomick

Hi Borg,

Depends on how you plan to display your model what parts you decide to paint. As for the colour I used mix of Tamiya x-13 Metallic Blue and Tamiya X-25 Clear Green.

You can see the effect on this link.

For mine, I used Lifecolor Aotake. It has the advantage of being waterbased, so cleanup is simple. however, the flip side of that is that it requires a primer to be used.

Well, I guess saying whatprimer I used might have been helpful! I use the Tamiya Clear Metal primer, because it allows the natural aluminum so show through, which gives the Aotake a bit of iridescence.

BigGrin Hi Experten
The clear primer by Tamiya is not available in the UK an alternative is made by Mr Hobby called Mr Hobby Clear which should do the job. Its available from MDC link below
