Hi,

I have now sprayed all the metal parts I had primed with Tamiya Metallic gold. Once dried, I painted some of the detail in matt black as per the instructions.

I have dry fitted one of the balcony rails, and the width seems very wide and obscures the door I have fitted. Need to rethink this area?Blushing

claret

Hi Alan,

Thanks you.

How did you overcome the added balcony door with the metal rail?

Hi Claret, I found the metal rail didn't interfere with my doors as I deliberately set them closer to the hull than the rail.... Cool

Hi Alan,

Thanks for the reply.

I may have to move the doors.

Hit another stumbling block, still waiting over two months for CMB to send 1mm diamond mesh I ordered.

Used the standard mesh and turned it through 45 degrees, but have run out of this now. One one window to do aswell!!Cursing Cursing .

Claret

Hi,

Work has started on the transom. A little bit of fettling required to get a good fit, but slow process, allowing paint and glue etc to cure.

More to follow at the weekend.
