gunwale done, moving on to the hatches,sanding hull. total build time is now 200hrs. painted the gunwales,and the hatches, will be making more hatches.

hi jase, they are wood. and only 1mm. holes. they have had just 1 coat, will need another later.

moving onto the painting of the hull,and coppering,the copper tape supplied was JUST enough,and very easy to do,the tile effect was achieved by scoring with a sharp craft knife, build hours has reached 100 hours, and a mammoth amount more to do. coppering pics to follow tomorrow.

hi virtue, another who doesn't read the intro to this weeks work, lol,so yes,they supply copper tape 1/4" wide.
and have already coppered the "beast", will put up more pics tomorrow.

thank you foz, this week I'm concentrating on the hull fittings, gunport linings,scuttles,and portholes. With a few decorations above the gunports. build time now 140hours.
