As of today the FIA have announced the following

1, All drivers are to get there numbers and they are kept for the duration that they are in F1.

2, There will be a five second penalty for minor infringements.

3, The end of season race points will be doubled.

4, There will be a tyre test on December 16th-18th for ALL teams.

All teams have agreed a spending cap to be enforced (ha ha)in 2015.

Lets see what happens then?

Such a shame, used to be an amazing sport to watch Crying

Don't get me wrong, I'll most likely not miss a race next season, but the thrill has changed, it's not gone, just changed

The double points on the last race wouldn't make a difference, if Seb has won the previous 2 in 4 with 5 races and 4 races left, the last race clearly didn't matter!

Interesting comments on the BBC website, some people clearly angry and upset at what has happened to F1

I do agree with some though, reduce the points gap between positions
1st gets 10 points > 10th gets 1 point, you can fill the middle in!

Will be interesting to see what numbers the drivers pick for themselves, and what reason they give for wanting it

Driver / Number choice predictions????

Jenson - 5, he said before this season started he felt that it was a number for British champions!

Last race points doubling would have meant that Hamilton would not have become world champ in 2008 Blink

Maybe they should award points for Qualifying.. It only needs to be a couple and will give some of the back runners a few points and some extra money!

Why can't they introduce a weight penalty for the winner of previous race like in the touring cars or even hourses, this would make the racing even closer with even the back markers having a chance of some points.
