All down to the sponsorship he brings with him I'm afraid! Not good news as DiResta is a good driver, just needs a good team behind him..

I suspect that he'll go back to DTM Don't think there is a seat left in a team he'll want to go to Shame, he's a nice guy and a good driver

There's also a point to be made there too Dom "the best machines" The thing is, the cars clearly aren't the best they can be, otherwise the record laps would be getting beat each year! I know somethings are restricted for safety reasons, but still they're being held back Would love to see the shape of F1 if all restrictions were lifted!

Hi, Being a fellow scot it's a real shame that Paul is out.There'se usually always a scottish driver in F1.When it comes to sport we in the north don't have that many world class sportsmen to look upto.There is Andy Murray but that's it.He's probably to late to get a good seat for next year but hopefully he'll be back again the year after that.I thought he did pretty well this year & deserves a seat but like others have said it's all about the money.Stu
