Hi All, BigGrin

Whilst literally waiting for paint to dry, I was thinking about the next stage of my Sots build.

Painting strip wood for the gun port inserts and the gunwales.

So had a look at what was laying around in my build room and come up with this.

Items required:

Length of wood to suit.
Four 90 degree brackets
2 x nut and bolt (I had threaded rod and wing nuts available)
4 x mini clamps (most of us must have them Eh)

Process:

Cut wood base to suit (mine 14.5 inches for 12 inch strip wood)
Screw a bracket on to each end of the base.
Bolt other two brackets on top (see first photo)
Clamp strip wood onto top bracket and paint/ spray.

Simple.

Here`s the pics:

Useful or not, I`ll let you decide. Flapper LOL

Happy Building

Regards

Hi Kobus, BigGrin

Just a simple idea to keep the fingers clean and all with stuff I had lying around.

Used it today and it worked a treat.

Thanks for taking the time to take a look. Cool
