Just thinking and another option which would not be expensive would be to send them signed for, at least then the postie would have to knock so at least that would give an idea of where they are being broken, personally I think that a lot of it is the sorting offices before it even gets to our postie. Anyway just a thought.

My replacement 3rd issue arrived this morning, all okay, thanks de-agostini. Lets hope they sort it out soon, even my postman who I forewarned about it said that any parcels going into a sorting office and going down shoots and into bins with other parcels, so I really cant see any other option than to use cardboard boxes.

Hi,
Just to say that I am now a full member of the broken parts club, part 5 arrived yesterday with a snapped main port wing spar, I cannot wait another 4 weeks so I will repair it.

I take it Trev from the fact that you have part 5 that every subscriber gets parts at different times, sorry to hear you had broken parts. I will have to email c/s about my replacement part 4 because I haven't heard anything since my initial pc generated reply telling me my email had been received and that was on Dec 11th. Andy

Hi Andysod,
I think it depends when you start as to where you are with the build, with your replacement parts you should not have to keep on at them I would not like that any way best of luck. With my Broken main spar I will have to repair it.
If you think about it corrugated cardboard may help if they do not want to use a box.

To be honest Trev anything would have to be better than what they are currently doing, even the polythene bags that the parts are in seem way too small, they will certainly have to do something soon or they are going to lose all trust in their reliability. You shouldn't have to pay £28.00 per month Trev and then have to repair broken parts, looking at your build you look to be a very good and knowledgeable builder who is very proficient and able to do these repairs but unfortunately not all are as good as you including myself. Heres hoping.

Just so you know, all future parcels will be delivered in cartons.

For broken parts, customers will receive replacements if you can let C/S know.
