Hi, Have progressed a bit more and finished the rear including the lantern. Needed a little filing here and there, but otherwise everything fitted together okay. Thanks for looking in. Regards Claret Also working on: SOTS. Moebius 1/32 Flying Sub with PE & lights.

Now that the first part of the festivities are over means I could get back to some serious stuff like moving on with the build.... Started work on Part 68 the fitting of the upper quarterdeck.... First took the side panels and these needed a very slight bend in them which was done gently using steam from the kettle. Lined the inner walls in the same manner as I have done all the inner bullworks.. When dry, set about fitting them to the upper quarterdeck area. Dry fitted the upper quarterdeck which needed very minimal adjustment. From there marked out the deck ready for the planking stage. Have cut a number of planks ready for the task and they have already had 2 coats of light oak stain... .. Tomorrow will get onto painting the outer sides black, planking the deck and finally fitting.... .. Hopefully will update tomorrow again.... Happy building all.. Hi All, I have now added the oars, bucket and roped anchor to the 'launch'. I used wood glue to glue the coils together and super glue to secure it to the launch deck. Regards Claret Also working on: SOTS. Moebius 1/32 Flying Sub with PE & lights.
