Looking good squire, I agree with you on the chain mail, I found a lot of loose links, soon put right. putting mail to sleeve is a bit fiddly, just need to persevere.. Bob.

Hi All The chain plates have now been sewn onto the silk arm backing starting with the shoulder plate then the hand guards I made a change here with the sewing of the plates as I went round as instructed but then followed it back round so both sides were fixed in place thus a stronger bind. Then all was left was the sewing on of the chain mail to the silk following the set patern, again I changed the way the instructions advised and used long dress makers pins instead of masking tape, this concludes issue 8 regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All Continuing to finish off the left sleeve firstly by adding the retaining straps to the outer wrist area and then adding the toggles and ties. Hi Andy, Just a fantastic job your doing on this armour, I tell you this kit is so close to the real thing, I was at the V/A museum London this week and I had a very close look at Samurai-Armour your work is so close Andy you must be very proud of your work keep sending. Hi Trev Thank you for you kind words  . Its a different form of modelling and the lacing can be a right pain but at the same time quite theraputic .One of the reasons I took this on was its closeness to the real thing and your comments have proved my theory correct.
