Hi All! I attach several photos of a 1/700 water line model of IJN battle ship Kirishima (霧島). This kit is sold by Fujimi Co. I have made it as a present for my friend. Hi Andy! Thank you for looking and posting a comment. The Kirishima's eldest sister, IJN battle ship KONGO (金剛) was built in UK. Refering to KONGO, IJN built Kirishima(霧島), Hiei(比叡) and Haruna(榛名). Hi Jase! Thank you for your comment and a good question. I'm now planning to build a 1/700 IJN battle ship NAGATO(戦艦 長門). Altough I have ever built 1/350 NAGATO, I want to try a 1/700 scale model the reason why some companies have recently started selling new photoetching parts and wooden deck parts for 1/700 models.
