The D51 collection also comes with the added bonus of a pre-painted scale footplate crew and a 'puffer nutter' (photographer) LOL

I never had an anorak it was always a fur lined duffle coat for me LOL ,it was darn cold on them platforms with my hands welded to the Styrofoam cup of tea that we got from the canteen.

While I totally respect the views that most regard these as a welcome addition to the build all I will say is that they won't be going anywhere near mine.

That's the good thing about model making, you can build to personal preference or stick with the intended.

I have stuck with my intended for over 30 years and she still lets me spend lots of money on these 'boys toys'.... her words not mine. I think the point I was making is that, personally, I don't think they will look right on the unpainted version. If I was painting then I would give it some thought.
