Hello,
My name is Larry and I'm from Southwest Florida. I recently subscribed for the HMS Victory kit (the monthly build subscription). I should be receiving the first installment in a few days. Are there any builders in the USA or is it a worldwide type of forum? I have about 40 yrs of modeling experience. Majority being in radio control aircraft, scale.
I've built a couple of rc sailboats, but have never attempted a tall scale ship like the HMS Victory. Any advice I can get from anyone would be most appreciated.
Thank you all out there....
Tomick

Hi Larry,

Firstly a big welcome to ModelSpace Cool

We do have a few other US based HMS Victory builders that mainly post in the UK forum. Feel free to join in with the topics in this and the main forum and good to have you along.

Experten will be along shortly to introduce himself who is our USA based forum support guy.

Hi Larry,

First, WELCOME! I am the US forum support member, so if there is anything I can do for you at any point, please let me know.

I'll be posting a build log soon over on Model Shipwrights. Keep your eyes open for that one.

As Tomick said, there is a LOT of info here on these boards, and I'd turn here first for answers to your questions. My log on MSW will be mainly to generate interest in the Victory, and other DeAgostini kits.

We all look forward to you posting pictures of your build. Also, remember that the only dumb question is one that you don't ask!

Hi Larry.

I am in central Florida and just started on the Victory myself. I would be interested to know how your build is going for you. Im on the first shipment, and have barely started it.
