The FIA is reportedly unhappy with some of the Formula1 anteater style nose solutions that are appearing on the first edition of the new 2014 cars as seen during the first pre-season tests in Spain.

Be interesting to see what some of you guy's thik too..

yeah I'm very surprised at the design of the 2014 front ends

They just don't even look remotely aerodynamic, and I'm not even an aerodynamicist!

I think this is the 1st year F1 has taken a step backward in regards to evolution and improving the previous years shape

Such a shame because the rest of the car looks amazing!

Not exactly a surprise to the FIA though.yhey knew last year there was going to be noses like this. Autosport had a feature of what they were going to look like.

The new generation Formula 1 cars are downright ugly says Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso, and he is adamant that it would be dishonest not to admit the fact.

FIA Race Director Charlie Whiting has indicated that the F1 nose regulations are set to alter ahead of the 2015 season.

Mercedes and Ferrari are the only teams to have avoided the controversial 'anteater' and 'finger' concepts.
