This is the dramatic moment a former cross Channel ferry was deliberately run aground after operating between Dover and France for 22 years.
The vessel was renamed the Ostend Spirit by Transeuropa Ferries and operated between Ramsgate and Ostend.

But it has now been sent crashing to land to make it easier for workers to take it apart.
