Free iModelkit app for your iPhone/iPad and iPod Touch.

The ad supported version is free, and if you don’t like the ad's then you can opt for the paid version. Its also available free for Mac and PC.

The App has colour charts, matching a dozen paint ranges, including those of well-known brand names such as Tamiya, Gunze-Sangyo, Revell and Humbrol.
There’s also a paint mixer, which uses an eye dropper tool by which you can pick up shades from any website you visit.

There is also a very useful Scale Computation page, in which you can input any size you like in a variety of measurements, it then converts that size into its scale equivalent such as 1:72 or whatever, you can also add notes.

Also an App available called 'Model Scaler'.

Managed to find the scaler app by woodland scenically - very good indeed.

Cannot find anything under I modeler though which is a shame.

Mr T many thanks for the update. Think the system must hate me as my iPad apps search says "no app found for imodelkit "

Will give it a try again at the weekend as it maybe offline.

Kind regards

Tony

Andy

Would never of thought of that in a million years but just tried and it downloaded with no problems so thanks very much for that. And to Mr T for posting the original article.

Will have a play later to see if it can suggest a mix for the orange used on the Porsche 956c Jaegermeister. Will save me spending on the zero paints mix.

Kind regards

Tony
