thank you martin,appreciate you dropping in. week 74 and 75. as I haven't got issue 72 I had made my own shields out of ply. the rest as per instructions.

hi steve, tony, getting over a bit of man-flu, lately, slowly getting back to building, the two vics(caldercraft/de-ag, are shelved at the mo,as concentrasting on the uss contitution. which has a mountain of deck furniture and bits and bobs everyhere.

Karl, I had the flu also last week. It took me by surprise. We had a heat wave in Cape Town and next thing the flu bug crept into me and I am out on my back.

Its great to have you back again. Your SotS is looking fantastic.

thank you Ian,Issue 78.quite abit of work to do, no probs as such, just a couple of tips,use the 8mm,and 6mm. dowel to make sure that the two layers of mast cap are aligned properly.

the pic with the mug is put on top of the parapit(fighting top)because the supports are angled the take the weight.and you get a good tight fit. the last pick is of the main mast 10mm.tapering down to 8mm.
