A man who has spent more than 17 years trying to establish whether Spitfires were buried in Burma at the end of World War Two is to return to the country to conduct a new search.

They used infra-red satellite images a few years ago to find new buried pyramids and settlements in Egypt, this guy should invest some of his money for a couple of satellite scans of the area.

Didn't someone (possibly him) try this a year ago and found nothing? I remember hearing something similar not so long ago

I am sure i saw an article where the RAF stated that their records show the spits never got delivered so could not be buried there - i might be wrong and surly he must have good evidence to spend so long trying to find them
