Hello,

I gave my hubby a SOTS subscription for his birthday last year.
Due to illness he was not capable of starting yet but.... now he is.

Before we used to buy complete building sets in the store and they always come with a colour chart for the paint.

I was wondering if anyone has a colour chart for the SOTS?
This because we have lots of store-bought paints we might consider using.

Thanks in advance,
arpurchase

Thanks for the quick reply Arpurchase and the list; much appreciated.Smile

(I was more hoping for a list with numbers to match them with any paint we have) for I am afraid if he runs out of a colour/it dries out we have to re-order a new set instead of getting one colour. Again thanks for the list and the link. As it is his birthday soon I may surprise him with the stand and the paint Wink

@ Mr.T. Thank you for the welcome

Hi Mimi, welcome to the forum, the paint sets are good value and should be plenty for the entire model, but in the event you do run out then the same paints are available individually -

Hi Stevie o,
Thanks for the link; this was what I was looking for BigGrin . As you may understand I am not a builder (my hubby is) and I am trying to get him everything he needs as a surprise for his birthday as he is finally ready to start his building. I am even more exited them him hahaha. Just want to give him a nice surprise on his birthday for he want to buy it all with the money he will be receiving (little does he now)Thanks again Stevie; you're a star.

*Anyone more idea's what I could get him tool wise that are must haves for a builder? He has the free-gifts that come with the subscription and got him glue and sanding paper.

I have big problems ordering the paint.
I was told by Customer Service it comes with the issues.

We are already at issue 60 ... something and we do not have any paint yet. They could not tell me which issue provides the paint.
Anyone can help me out with the question?

I don't understand if it comes with the subscription (I thought it did not) so I want to order the paint set but am being told they can not order that for me. ????????????

Being told I can only order that by the website but is does not go thru; every time my order says cancelled ! I rang customer service but as said before they tell me they can not order me any paint.

Someone please give me some advice? Getting very confused and upset now
and do not know how to solve this.

Hi Mimi, you will need to order the paint set from the website.
Ordered mine about 2 weeks ago, and it arrived this morning, so service is speedy enough.
