The build of the Hummer continue albeit at a slow pace. The next delivery of parts is due shortly.

As I have already said (See "while I am waiting") previous post. I have started some smaller builds. The Roman and Norman catapults have already been completed and can be seen in my previous posts. The latest to my armoury is a model of the British Carronade, again by Mantua and again with their "basis" build instructions, but after the two previous builds I am getting used to them and on the possitive side it does give you some leeway for the build.

The kit does not include the tampion to plug the end of the barrel but I was able to make one from part of one of the barrels provided with the first issue for the cross section of the Victory which I decided not to build and the worm is also an additional self build.

As this build is now complete will be able to consider spending some cash on a new build and as it happens i will be visitng the Model Show at Yeovilton on Saturday. Must remember the credit card
