Hi guys, I tried painting the cannon balls like the plans said, but paint doesn't stick to the smooth balls. What I did is to blue them on a stove top, it came out great! pierre50 attached the following image(s): Current Buid:

Any parts to be painted should be cleaned first be dipped in alcohol or acid to resolve the protection layer against rust or releasing agent from the mould. Then use a primer like Tamiya's white primer before applying colour. Another technique is to use gunmetal blue on the balls to give it the black shiny finish.
