Hi guys, I tried painting the cannon balls like the plans said, but paint doesn't stick to the smooth balls. Any parts to be painted should be cleaned first be dipped in alcohol or acid to resolve the protection layer against rust or releasing agent from the mould. Then use a primer like Tamiya's white primer before applying colour. Another technique is to use gunmetal blue on the balls to give it the black shiny finish.
