Anyone seeking a UK based supplier of the hard to find Tamiya TS-89 Pearl blue for their display body, e-Models have stock.

(TS-89 is the blue shade recommended by Tamiya for their RB kit)

I assumed the display body would be hard plastic and pre painted to match the colour of the rest of the body parts.

And as we already know we can't airbrush or spray the front and rear wing because it come with stickers pre-applied.

It would make sense that the race body is clear Lexan and would require polycarbonate paint.

Yes it would be nice as it save a few quid.

Looking at the list Tomick shared we are going to be spending a fair bit on paint though.

You have the choice to paint the display body or not, as the plastic components are moulded in the body colours of yellow and blue.

The racing body is clear, and will need to be painted.

Ah right, got it. Thanks. I had confused myself by looking ahead on the German PDF's and presumed the display body was the racing body (as there's no reference to the racing body that I saw when browsing) I'll order some paints at some stage then ThumpUp
