Hi Eddie and a warm welcome to the forum.... Have to agree with Karl here. I took on the challenge of building the SOTS having never done anything like this before and I really haven't regretted one second of it.... The SOTS is an excellent kit for first time builders, the instructions are very clear and it comes at a pace that can easily be accommodated.... Would wholeheartedly recommend this one, she is a fab kit to build plus there is loads of help on this forum should you feel you need it..... Cool Cool .. Would be great to see a build diary from you too.....Cool .. Good luck in your search....

Regards

Alan

BigGrin Hi Eddie
I see you intend to have a go at the Sovereign and would just like to advise you that its a build more suited to builders with some experience of ship building a better choice of a first model would be the Victory as it has a full official build diary and many members diary's to follow.
Perhaps doing the Victory first to gain the skills you will need for the Sovereign would be a better course of action.
By the way your handle is it associated with Douglas Bader the flyer

Hi again. The name I used for this forum is because I like the Spitfire and Douglas Bader is a famous pilot Ace and why I'm doing the Spitfire. No family relation I'm afraid. Eddie is my name or Edward but I prefer EddieBigGrin

Hi again. thanks for the welcome and advice on what ship to go for. I think im going to go for the Sovereign as I have my heart set on it and seen some very nice builds to help me along if I run into any problems.

I will post up some pictures of my Spitfire so hopefully it will show that I have a few skills to do a ship.
