Found time to do more to the Victory this section involved the rigging to the Cannons I found this a bit fiddly but my main interest was to rig each one as a working model. So of to Chatham Dockyard to see for myself, there are small variations but few changes have taken place in design well at least the one I look at which was rigged for battle so I copied that not a lot of difference from de-Ago. Hi Alan, Thanks for looking in, the cannons are a bit tricky still that's the fun part, I have notice that on some builds that there is a draw cord and blocks to pull the cannons back is this standard on most ships ? Hi Ian, Thank you for your time to take a look at my build, I'm very pleased with the outcome as I spent a lot of time researching and building these cannons I still think I need to put block and tackle at the rear to look more the part. Hello Hans, Hope you are keeping well and you should have a good tan by now,we in the UK have a rust glow about us due to the amount of rain over the last few months, I must say thank you for your comments regarding my update with the cannons,I have added a very small cannon ball rack to each cannon I know the Victory has a rack on the upper deck so that is what I copied. Wishing you well, Trev. Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).
