Greetings, The cannons are correct to be there. Watch CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL at the scene when Miss Swan is on the BP and has dinner and the explanation of the Aztec curse. At the very start of this scene two pirates come into the Captain's Quarters with the dress Miss Swan has to wear during dinner. On the right side of the screen next to the two pirates there is a cannon in full view (wide screen version). The touch hole is covered with what looks like a tiny red rug. If the paper rug is not glued down yet you could color photo copy it and reduce it make a tiny cover as seen in the above scene. The image of the rug in the directions could also be used. There also appears to be another wall and door making a short corridor to the outer door. When Barbossa exits the cabin near the end of the scene (turning into a skeleton) he also passes through a set of red curtains. They are set just inside the door. These could be made with some small scraps of red silk. Christopher Current builds: HMS Victory Black Pearl
Builds on hold: Millennum Falcon USS Constellation
Future Builds: Hanse Kogge (14th C) Mary Rose (16th C)

Hi! A new update, the poop is completed. Of cause I took my usual planking material, I really like it. Now issue 79 is finished and I have to wait for the next delivery. In the next stages the outside planking has to be completed. I want to wait with this job until issue 87 arrives. There are some decorations to be fitted and I want to place my planking very close to this. Regards, Bernd der Gohfelder attached the following image(s):
