Does the model have to be painted or is this an optional effect/improvement? Building: RB7 Nitro / Senna MP4/4 Finished: McLaren MP4/23 Brad.

Supaheli wrote:Bdizzle84 wrote:Does the model have to be painted or is this an optional effect/improvement? depends if you want a see thru shell or not I assumed the display body would be hard plastic and pre painted to match the colour of the rest of the body parts. And as we already know we can't airbrush or spray the front and rear wing because it come with stickers pre-applied. It would make sense that the race body is clear Lexan and would require polycarbonate paint. Finished 3D Printer, RB7, Hummer, Skyrider drone & Combat tank collection http://www.model-space.com/gb/

Yes it would be nice as it save a few quid. Looking at the list Tomick shared we are going to be spending a fair bit on paint though. Finished 3D Printer, RB7, Hummer, Skyrider drone & Combat tank collection http://www.model-space.com/gb/

The racing body is clear, and will need to be painted.

I had confused myself by looking ahead on the German PDF's and presumed the display body was the racing body (as there's no reference to the racing body that I saw when browsing) I'll order some paints at some stage then Building: RB7 Nitro / Senna MP4/4 Finished: McLaren MP4/23 Brad.
