Ohhh, that is NOT a good thing! The most foul thing I have ever attempted to eat was a MRE, Ham Omelette, in 1992. The eggs were green, and even with the included bottlette of Tabasco sauce, it was inedible. The crackers that are usually in MRE's are ok, but those are hard baked. Too date, there isn't any bread in a MRE, that I know of. I have been out of the Army for 12 years though. I usually have one in my truck for emergency rations. (traveling in the winter can be a bit dicey)
