That's absolutely beautiful kp, there's nothing shows skill more than scratch building and there's tons of it in that one! Did you have "Autumn Leaves" from War of the Worlds playing whilst you made her? (go on, make a Tripod!) Lovely work. Robin First wooden ship: The Grimsby 12 Gun 'Frigate' by Constructo Second: Bounty DelPrado Part Works Third: HMS Victory DelPrado Part Works 1/100 scale Diorama of the Battle of the Brandywine from the American Revolutionary War Diorama of the Battle of New Falkland (unfinished sci-fi), Great War Centenary Diorama of the Messines Ridge Assault Index for the Victory diary is on page 1

Thanks for posting those photos of the Waverly. I'd just been admiring the picture of it on the shelf in your other thread of the Mississippi steamer. She's a beautiful ship, I wish there were more like her still around. Nice to see her in the water - that's answered the question that I asked in the other thread Happy building David

I have got the plans for the Duchess of Fife but I recon at my build rate she won't get started for 3 yrs at least I have so many other scratch build projects on at the moment I've got the stern wheeler to finish a Thames barge a pilots launch a 76" Queen Elizabeth. That's not to mention all the plastic kits I will be building in between. Ken's the name modeling's the game.
