Has anyone else with recent Australian issues 44-47 encountered concerns assembling the left rear hub carrier with bearings?
I found the bearings to be a very tight interference fit in the hub to the point that deformation in the hub plastic is evident after being squarely pressed in.
I also note that there is substantial play inside the bearing to the issue 46 left rear wheel shaft unlike the neat fit visible in the issue assembly pictures as well as the pictures in post #6 here .
Could it be possible that the incorrect bearings have been supplied in issue 45?

Can you post up a photo of your hub carrier and bearing and also provide the overall diameter size and inside hole size of your hub bearings.

The inside diameter of the bearing is ~10mm and outside diameter is ~15mm
The diameter of the shaft is ~8mm

I've since noted the materials list on page 11 of the issue indicates the bearing should be 8x14x4mm which explains the tight outer and loose inner fit

Definately an incorrect bearing size you have there, presumably both bearings you have are of the same size and did they come from the sealed parts pack?

They should certainly be 8x14x4mm

You need to contact customer services for a replacement parts set. In the meantime I'll pass the info to onto the packager, though at this stage we unaware of anyone else having reported the same finding.

Yes they are a matched pair and came from the sealed parts pack with the issue.

I'll be in touch with the local distributor on Monday

Thanks for your assistance.

Hello All

I am helping my son build the RB7 and have the same problem with issue 45.

bearing measures 14.91mm and hub is only 14mm. it will not go. Tried press etc. and wants to cut the plastic hub. I am in Brisbane, sent away email tonight to customer service, awaiting reply.

Hi Guys

I too have found the wrong size bearings in issue 45, 15x10x4mm
not 14x8x4mm as stated in issue 45.
Have sent customer service (Bissett)an Email requesting replacement parts, as yet no reply. I hope that there are not too many bearings in the build as they have not got it right yet.
you think that customer service would reflect Customer outlay

ridiculous to still be waiting after reporting the problem over a month ago and still no reply from customer service, you would think that the customer service would reflect the customer outlay but it seems not to be the case.

I received a call early this week from customer service confirming the required parts and was advised that they would be sent out in the next batch of reorders within the next 28 days.
Issue 50 also arrived earlier this week which is the opposite side's rear hub carrier assembly and it included the correct bearings this time.
