Just wanted to say hello, new customer for the RB7 waiting for issue. #1! Can't wait! Was also wondering can it be arrainged to have more than one issue per month delivered? Thanks for the input. And I am sure this forum will come in handy during the build...

Hi Odddocter, You are most definitely in the right place and very welcome. Most subscriptions are delivered monthly, but you get 4 sets of parts as if you were to receive 1 part per week. Hope this helps. Any problems and/or issues, just ask. There`s always someone here to help. Don`t forget to post your progress in a diary. Happy Building Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hello, and welcome! I just sent off an email to DeAgostini here in the US. I will hopefully have an answer for you by tomorrow, but if not, know that I am working on it. In looking at the website, it does look like the 25 month option is the only way to go right now. I'll be in touch! Tired, Old, and Cranky!

Ok! I already heard back, and it is a good news/bad news sort of deal for you. At this time, only the 25 month subscription is available, however, at some point in the near(ish) future it would be possible for you to change your subscription to whatever expedited option is available depending at what point you are at in your subscription. The only thing I can say is that for right now, savor the deliveries! I have been building partwork kits for 3 years now, and it is like Christmas once a month when my subscription rolls in from Europe. The anticipation is almost half the fun. The whole partwork thing is a bit of an odd notion for us yanks. We, as a culture, have grown accustomed to more or less instant gratification. My first kit was purchased from Ebay Germany, and it finally finished up a few months ago. I started in 2011 on that one. The one thing I have found is that I am much more likely to actually work on whatever kit it might be as opposed to getting it, and then it becoming a part of the stash. Tired, Old, and Cranky!

Thanks for all the kind hellos and the info about the possible near future subscription change. Also a 'doh' moment, I forgot my user name and password earlier today and had to do a new login. Sooooo, 'Chrisp' is also me, asked the question about the Damper washers and if I should hold off in putting the front one I received in my first shipment. Again many thanks for the replies regarding that issue. I will be holding off.. Odddoctor ;-)))
