Just a question to all, are rib frames 5 and 6 supposed to be fractionally higher than the rest? I have them all butting firmly to the false keel, but 5 and 6 sit about 2mm higher.

It is perfectly correct Steven, there is a gradual decline from the bow to the centre then rises again slightly from the centre to the stern. Hope this helps..

Thanks Alan,

I would have expected the variation to be at the top of the side sections, i.e. 6a&6b - but not in the centre of the rib frame immediately above the slots.

Hi Steven, like I say the deck on my build slopes downwards very gradually from the bow to the centre of the ship and then inclines again from the centre of the ship to the stern. Have a look at the early pages of my diary and you may find it will give you some help,,, link to my build diary follows my signature block below... Good luck with the build..

Regards

Alan
