Beautiful job on the ratlines there Steve, you make it look 'oh!so easy' but I'm sure it's taken lots of time and patience and it really shows in the final result. Well done. Happy building David

Thanks everyone Yep, they are a pain but it's got to be done. I will be plodding on with this each evening but it's tricky to do in anything except daylight as it does put a strain on the eyes. I think its due to the vertical and horizontal lines of the threads and also the double image of the template - like seeing double. You also have to push the needle as near as possible to the center of the shroud, again hard in artificial light. I do use a daylight lamp but still not the same as real daylight. I will post next when all ratlines are done Cheers Steve

Thanks All I have this evening just finished all ratlines port side, even the futtock shrouds! I have now downed tools to open a bottle of red in celebration so no more work tonight I will post pics when all are completed. Cheers Steve

At last - the ratlines are done I estimated a week and it took twice that in total but all done now. I decided to take my favourite lady outside for a photo shoot to celebrate...no, not my wife she just stood in the doorway shaking her head Issue 101 now well and truly done so onto the next one.
