Hi All Not much to do this month as its mostly filling in tapers on the hull which I have already done but there were two ladders to make up and the adding of the bow and stern fillets to get the shape in these area's. Hi Andy, Looking good - are the fillets balsa or ply? and are these added by you or are they part of the kit? Steve

Hi Steve Thanks for looking in and your comments. The fillets are pre-cut and provided with the kit and are of light ply which should make shaping them easyer regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All After leaving overnight to let the glue dry properly I got down to some serious shaping at the bow and stern. To the rough sanding I use a wood file which when 1st used can be frightening as it strips back fast and roughly but with experience you know when to stop and let the sand paper take over. Hi Andy, Just had a look and you are doing well,plus all that sanding has made the difference did you find ply hard to shape,looking forward to see how that part turns out. Trev Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).
