Hi All, Well Ok, this is my situation with my numerous builds. I can see a lot of knot tying etc coming up in the near future, rigging etc. So, to that end whilst at Portsmouth Historic Docks yesterday I purchased the following. "The Ultimate Encyclopedia of Knots and ropework" Here`s a few pics of the item I purchased. Now here`s a link to just one seller, I`m not saying it`s the best or the cheapest, so browse the web for the best deals if you want one. encyclopedia of knots and ropework As a teaching aid it looks the business to me. Nice that you get the ropes too, you can spend many hours practising knots in front of the TV, reminds me of when I was in the cub scouts going for my badges Steve

Knots? Urghh! One grannyknot for simple bits, multiple grannies for bigger ones! That was one reason why I didn't join the scouts!! Looks a very good book though!
