Hi everyone, I was wondering how many binders I need to order to house all the issues. I contacted the distributor and was told that as I was purchasing the issues through the newsagent I would have to order them through the newsagent. Does anyone have any idea. I would like to purchase them in advance.  Regards

Hi Ted.  The guff that comes with the issues regarding if you're ordering from store and to get free stuff shows a binder with the words, Quote; ' Keep all your magazines in pristine condition with this specially designed binder with your third delivery.'Unquote. By that I would presume you only need the one binder for all 135 issues. Or, I think it would say you can get get further periodic binders as needed. The issue books are pretty thin and the binder shown looks large. Hope that helps. Regards George1 Building HMS SOTS

Hey George The only reason I ask is that they seem to be giving more than 1 binder if you subscribe according to some posts. Being a bit anal I like to keep every thing together and as you say in pristine condition. Be lovely to give the grand kids. Regards

Hi Ted. Looks like I was well off the mark.  With 9 binders you're now gonna' have to build a special room to store them. Gets expensive. We're gonna' need a room for the ship and another for the binders. Good you found the correct answer. Regards George1 Building HMS SOTS

Hi Guys An interesting view, something I never thought about ..... I don't have a large home by any means, and I've been modelling for over 40 years so it depends largely on how you utilize the space you have.... I have a room with a 7m x 5m train layout in it and I use the space under the layout for display cases. I also have sealed shelving, bookcase style, in my workshop that houses completed ships. I know most people don't have the luxury of a lot of space, but I have also seen some very ingenious displays for finished projects in my time as well. I already have no idea where the Victory will be going. Also nice to know the number of binders I will need to get someday. Might get some for the Victory and the Hood sometime.

You could always just get those ring binders from the newsagent, and the clear sleeves to put each issue in which will protect them nicely.
That's what I will be doing instead of buying more binders.
