Many of you appear to be having trouble opening RussGs link to his MS Publisher files.
May I suggest that you go to his first post and click on the link shown for either the original publisher file or the additional PDF file. Follow the instruction for downloading the publisher file by clicking on the download file now line printed in green.
You have to wait about 20 seconds before the download will start, ignoring any reference to not wanting to wait, scroll down to the bottom of the page for further instructions, you will be told to download. Make sure your anti virus is all up to date.
Hope this helps you all, and happy buildingBigGrin

Hummmm !!!!!Huh No Idea why Mine printed of OK !!!

Anyway for More Plans Visit My Unofficial Website Theres a lot more there to be found!!!

THE UNOFFICIAL WEBSITE - AKA MY BUILD!!!!!

Hi All,
Publisher plans printed and joined together, thanks Russ for you hard work in re-scaling them.
If you centre the main/centre mast of your model on the printed plan you should find that the front mast is 6mm forward than shown on the printed plan, and the rear mast is 2mm back from the printed plan. This could be due to a slight variation of different plans by different manufacturers. Everything else appears to be OK. I do not think this slight variance will make any difference as we shall be using them for reference rather than building.
Happy building and keep posting your ideas.

Hi CMB, Yep my rear mast on the plan is out by 2mm!!! As I and you say, its only for reference! but still it give us an idea of the overall size and shape!
Happy Building, Russ

Just a quick tip when joining up the plans.
Use the vertical crop marks on the left hand side of the page and and cut straight down, then offer up to the adjoining left hand page and line up.
I found it helpful to use a pin in order to keep your first position and then you can swivel the page to obtain a perfect fit. You may have to re-pin a couple of times but when all lined up use a small piece of sellotape to hold in position.Repeat for all the pages and when you are satisfied they all line up sellotape over all the vertical and horizontal joins both sides (front & back)
Happy times ahead.BigGrin

Thankyou for that tip, but what about those at the bottom of the page? I joined all mine, only to find that by ythe time I got to the last few, they were hopelessly out of line (I started at number 15 and worked backwards?) Am going to print them off once more to try again.

Not sure what has happened here as I printed of the whole of the Publisher files files supplied by RussG and then converted to PDF.I printed out pages 6-10 (the deck plan) of the PDF files and they matched up with the Publisher printouts.Just printed out pages 11-15 and they all line up as intended.
Just check you are printing to A4 Portrait and that the higher no.pages lie on top of the preceding page. Hope this helpsConfused

Hello
Just quick reminder. When you printing on ink printer, don't forget to cover your plans with somethink (I sprayed Citadel's Hard Coat on it, but think any clear varnish will do) otherwise it will be destroyed when you touch it with somethink wet Cursing

Just in case!
I mentioned the vertical crop lines previously but do not forget to crop horizontaly as there is a big overlap along the bottom row.
