Normally I believe it is located on the quarterdeck. Where the quarterdeck is located on the SoS I'm not sure. Regards

Hi all, on the SotS the weather decks were (from bow to stern): Forecastle - Upper (gun)deck - Half-deck - Quarter-deck - Poop-deck. But as the ship was designed in 1634, I'm not sure that the ship actually had a wheel. The larger ships in those days still had a whipstaff/kolder-stok with a companion the helmsman could look out of. Adrie. 'Where to glue or where not to glue, that is the question'
