I know this is going to sound like a really daft question, but where did the Sovereign have the Wheel? I was looking at the video and I couldn't see it anywhere Blink Confused Huh

Normally I believe it is located on the quarterdeck. Where the quarterdeck is located on the SoS I'm not sure.

Hi all,

on the SotS the weather decks were (from bow to stern):

Forecastle - Upper (gun)deck - Half-deck - Quarter-deck - Poop-deck.

But as the ship was designed in 1634, I'm not sure that the ship actually had a wheel. The larger ships in those days still had a whipstaff/kolder-stok with a companion the helmsman could look out of.
