I am going round the bend. I must have resprayed it 5 times now. I just cannot paint it. I am using a 10/0 brush, but it's impossible getting between the little decorations.

Any tips. I honestly may have to give up if I can't do it as it would ruin the entire look of the ship.

Not building this myself so can't picture the problem but if it's just a case of painting in between decorations can you not paint in between them first and then paint the raised area or the decoration itself? Another way may be to seal the paint with a varnish first and paint in between with a wash.
I'm sure someone who has been through this will be along soon to help you out though.
