Pack 11 contains Stages 40-43 plus the lighting pack
Stage 40 - Contains hinges, rudder section and wooden strips.
Take the rib 16 reinforcement fret provided with Stage 27. Remove the remaining two parts from the fret. Then smooth the pieces with sandpaper to remove any burrs or splinters.
Apply adhesive to the contact areas of the rib of the left wing, as shown in the step photo, then place the larger reinforcement up against the side of the rib.
Now apply glue to the front end of the same rib of the left wing and fit the small reinforcement onto the side of the rib, aligning the curved top edges of both.
Remove the two parts shown in the photo from the rib 8 reinforcement fret provided with Stage 28. Then smooth them with sandpaper to remove any splinters or burrs.
Apply glue along the top side of the rib shown in the step photo, then glue the shorter of the two pieces at the front of the rib, and the longer piece along the back.
Remove the two parts shown from the rib 8 reinforcement fret and sand smooth. Then turn the wing over and glue the two pieces to the same rib.
Carefully store the remaining parts and lighting pack until required.Tomick attached the following image(s):

Stage 41 - Contains the cockpit floor, wooden strip, diecast part and brass strip.
Place the left (port) wing with the underside facing upwards. Carefully cut the projection tabs at the bottom of the ribs with a razor saw, then sand the cut flush with the rib edge.
Use a sanding block, lightly sand along the top and underside surface of the wing to remove any unevenness from the ribs, reinforcements and spars.

Stage 42 - Contains a seat parts fret, diecast headrest and a wooden strip.
Remove the four parts (arrows) from the seat parts fret. Sand the parts to remove the burrs and any splinters.
Test-fit the seat side with the seat back. Adjust the size of hole in the side if the fit is tight. Then glue into place.
Now take the seat base and test-fit it into the hole in the side, then test-fit the second seat side, placing it over the base and the back. Adjust the holes if necessary and then glue into place. Then apply glue along the joins between the parts to reinforce.
Fill the holes in the seat sides. Then sand the seat assembly to remove any unevenness from the surface and seal it to prepare it for painting.
Prime and then paint the seat satin black.

Stage 43 - Contains cockpit side parts, brass wire and diecast levers.
To make the first seatbelt, take a brass strip that came with Stage 41 and remove the surface tarnish with a scourer pad or fine emery paper.
Place the strip up against the seat back with one end in the join between the back and the base. Position at a slight angle and then bend the strip at the top of the seat. Cut the strip flush with the back edge of the seat.
Following the same process, make another seatbelt to creat a V shape. Smooth the ends of the strips.
Place a brass strip across the width of seat back, add 2mm to the length then cut the strips, and fold the strip back 1mm at ech end. Check that the strip fits snugly across the seat width.
Cut a piece of 2 x 5mm wooden strip, 8mm in length and a 6mm length of brass strip. Smooth the ends of both and then glue a short length of strip in the centre of the wood, the glue the wooden strip onto the centre of the shaped brass strip.
Use a fine file to remove any burrs from the cut ends of the straps, then paint them earth brown, and paint the wooden strip with silver paint and its centre plate brown. Then glue the three seatbelts into place on the seat back.
The seatbelt straps look quite crude made of brass strip. For a more authentic look to them, you might want to consider using a woven lace or material instead.

Pack 12 contains Stages 44 - 47
Stage 44 - Contains 1.5mm brass wire, diecast sight, control box and undercarriage controls.
Retrieve the cockpit side (right) and diecast parts from the previous stage, also the 2x3mm wooden strip supplied with Stage 42
Temporarily place the diecasts from this stage into the holes in the cockpit side. Then take the 2x3mm wooden strip supplied with Stage 42 and place it onto the cockpit side. Mark the end of the strip then cut it at the marked line.
Glue the strip onto the cockpit side in the position shown in the instructions. Then remove the castings and smooth the cockpit side with sandpaper.
Cut five pieces of the 1.5mm brass wire, each 12mm in length. Glue one length up against the wooden strip, placed centrally on the cockpit side, then glue another piece at each end of the cockpit side, then glue a piece centrally, either side of the centre line.
When the glue has set, adjust the length of these pieces so they are flush with the edge of the cockpit side.
Remove any burrs from the castings, then glue the four castings into place on the cockpit side.
Carefully store the remaining diecast part, wire and wooden strip.

Stage 45 - Contains parts for the left aileron and a wooden strip.
If you have not already done so, use a sanding block to sand the top of the left wing from Stage 41.
Lightly sand the tops of the ribs starting at the wide end. Move the block in a straight line to prevent distorting the shape of the ribs. Sand to the end of the wing. Remember not to sand the curved ends of the ribs, only the straight section on top. Sand from the end of the wingtip towards the other end of the wing. This will create a more level surface on top of the wingtip ribs.
Now take the right wing. Use a razor saw to cut the projections from the ribs on the underside of the wing as you did with the left wing. Then repeat the sanding process to sand the upper/lower surfaces and wing tip as you did with the left wing.
Carefully store the left aileron fret and wooden strip.Tomick attached the following image(s):

Stage 46 - Contains the right wing aileron parts set and a wooden strip.
Remove the aileron spar and corner piece from the aileron parts fret, then smooth the pieces with sandpaper to remove any burrs or splinters.
Glue the corner piece at the end of the aileron spar, position as shown in the instructions.
Now remove the largest rib from the aileron fret, smooth the piece with sandpaper to remove any burrs or splinters.
Glue the rib up against the end of the spar and corner piece, then before the glue has set, test-fit the aileron section up against the rear spar of the right wing and adjust the angle of the rib before the glue sets the rib in position.
Remove the smallest rib and corner piece from the fret, smooth the pieces with sandpaper to remove any burrs or splinters. Glue the corner piece at the other end of the aileron spar, then glue the small rib at the end of the spar so that it isresting against the corner piece.
Place the aileron spar back into its position in the right wing to check that the angles of the ribs are correct.
Keep the aileron with this wing, number the fret and carefully store the remaining parts.Tomick attached the following image(s):

Stage 47 - Contains the right (starboard) engine side frame, frame 11 and a reinforcement fret.
Take the aileron fret from the previous Stage (46), identify and label the remaining ribs, then remove all of the ribs from the fret, smooth and remove any splinters.
Retrieve the right (starboard) wing aileron assembled in the previous stage. Apply glue to the front of rib A and fit into position in the aileron spar as the widest end, and set it at a right angle to the spar.
Follow this with ribs B-F, ensuring all are set at a right angle to the aileron spar.
Place the aileron into position on the right wing to check that it still fits correctly. Store the aileron with the wing and set aside for now.
Engine frames:
Remove and carefully store the parts fret from the centre of frame 11, then sand any splinters smooth.
Test-fit, then glue the engine side onto the right (starboard) side of frame 11.
Note that both side of the engine frames, will slightly taper inwards towards the nose.
You can offer up the engine frame to the nose of the fuseage to see how it will look, but DO NOT yet glue the engine frame onto the fuselage.
