as I attatch the shrouds to the mast do I make 2 shrouds out of one piece of thread or are they all individualConfused

You make 2 from each thread, the first 3 pieces from front to back are a pair on the same side, the final pair is one on each side.
So, say on the foremast, shroud one is nearest the bow -

then you will do shroud 1+2 portside, then 1+2 starboard,
then 3+4 port, then 3+4 starboard...etc until you get to the last one which is 11 and this is the one that goes to both sides. You will need to number them also to keep them in the right order to prevent the shrouds crossing over.
