From what I see is that the ball ends on the bottom of the suspension going to the ball headed screws on the lower wishbones may come off (fail under pressure) because they don't really clip on...it's like they clip on loosely which may cause problems on up and down strokes of the suspension...please review this.

Hi Superheli,

I thought similar when putting it together but i would have faith in the engineering. After playing around with the joint for a bit the forces at play seem to be directed straight into the shocker rather than against the ball joint connector if that makes sense, i think if anything they are biased slightly towards the connector coming off against the lower wishbone rather than coming free of the connection, but with a ball joint I'm pretty sure the forces are designed to be balanced as the point of contact changes as the wheel moves up and down. I have faith that sufficient thought and testing would have gone into it...the reputation of the companies involved depend on it.

Having said that I would keep an eye on it, the connection on mine is looser than i would expect but I think it has been designed this way; as i've said I'm pretty sure there are not sufficient forces working to remove this connection from the joint.

You could never truly know until you get it on the track and hopefully your supplier will help out. This is one of the reasons i subscribed.

I thought this too but they seem secure! Being the fool that I am I was also trying to install one the wrong way up which then in turn wouldn't clip on. Switched it round and it made a nice click sound when it seated. Worth just checking...

the ball ends are 2 sided on 1 side it has a slightly larger hole than the other side...larger side down but on 1 of my rear suspension it goes on with no effort they shouldn't do that a noticeable click should be heard yes???
