G'day all......John Edwards here from Chain Valley Bay Central Coast.
I have been building model sailing ships now for over 20 years and have just a few laying around. Is this forum only for models that are purchased through magazines, or whatever.
I have built the Jokita HMS Victory, Berlin, A Japanese Sailing and steam ship the Kanrinmaru, plus a few more.I am also building a model of the James Craig that is in Sydney. This model is 2 metres in length.

Welcome to the forum.

To answer your question this forum started mainly as a result of the build the victory part work being launched in the uk a few years ago.

However it's gone from strength to strength with pages dedicated to official deagostini kit launches from ships, to military to formula 1.

It also allows reviews and builds of non deagostini models which you can see in the members other builds locations.

Please feel free to post up some pictures of your builds as there is always great interest in what other builders are getting up too.
