Hi jock Build looking great Love the gantry too. I made a mistake of using too narrow a base board so couldn't make one regarding issue instructions. Lot easier using gantry to ensure rib frames 90 degrees to false keel. Will watch your progress with great interest. Regards George1 Building HMS SOTS

Modified part 24 as it will foul the planking and be difficult to fix. jock attached the following image(s): Previous builds Bounty, Cutty Sark, Red Baron Triplane, Bismark,Titanic,Endeavour http://jockspage.webs.com/

Built a anti-cat box as I had ones destroyed by a departed feline. The box is pinned to the base so it is easy to transport. jock attached the following image(s): Previous builds Bounty, Cutty Sark, Red Baron Triplane, Bismark,Titanic,Endeavour http://jockspage.webs.com/

Hi Jock Build coming on great. Pleased to see you've altered braces re issue 7. We all got caught out there. Like your cat box. I don't have that problem but there is a chance of fly invasion with the garage doors open. I might have to set up an automated sensor spray aboard ship, or pluck dead flies from wet paint later. Hi Jock, love the anti-cat box, was the "departing" of the feline anything to do with the ship being destroyed? I don't think a box like would help me though, my cats have shown a lot more interest in my build since I started the rigging Steve

More on issue 8 jumped ahead and installed some planks. Be careful DON'T GET ANY GLUE ON FRAME 3 it is removed later. And the careful fairing the frames are very flimsy jock attached the following image(s): Previous builds Bounty, Cutty Sark, Red Baron Triplane, Bismark,Titanic,Endeavour http://jockspage.webs.com/

Hi Jock Going well there with the row boat. Yes you are right re number 3 no glue. Some of my glue must have run down onto 3's and once boat planked and cut from base I had to sand them away. So it definitely saves that trouble if you ensure no glue gets on them and they fall cleanly out when separation from base. Regards George Building HMS SOTS
