How is this for wild optimism!
A lot of posts talk about bargains from the local pound shop. I was dragged in there yesterday by the wife to buy bird food and came out clutching a clearance offer small electric sewing machine for the princely sum of £13.99! You'll need that for your sails she said!
I'm now sat looking at a pile of rib sections that need to be attached to the longtitudinal hull pieces and thinking, there might be a little bit of work in between before I get to the sails??
Tried to work it yesterday afternoon and reckon that wood turning is dead easy in comparison but I did spend a bit more on the lathe! Anybody need a few shirts knocking up?

Orders noted Gentlemen, you might have a long wait though! Spoken to the purser and he says he will look through his slops for you. If you can't afford his prices he says he will gladly lend you the money at his normal rates of interest. Alternatively have a look at sailors' clothes The rest of the site is worth a look as well!
