Hi guys. I've just got back to my mclaren which has been on a ship on a mission all over the place! Sadly the ship has hit a bit of bad weather during this time and the car has suffered a bit of damage. Nothing that won't mend though luckily! I do however have a bit of a problem with the panels that sit below the front part of the side pod. The bit that sticks out seems to be a bit bent on one side and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on the best way to "coax" it back in to alignment. I'll try post a pic up now to show what I mean! Cheers Scott If at first you don't succeed........skydiving is not for you!

Hi Scott and welcome back from what sounds like a rough trip at sea! I've not personally seen this problem before but one thing that you can do but being careful not to have it on to HOT is pass a hair dryer over the offending part and slightly align it beyond the lower section. Allow it to cool down and it should align up with the lower section better... You might have to do this a few times to get it the way you want it. Another solution is using hot water over the part but your more likely to burn your fingers while holding it. ABS plastic is pretty tough and can withstand a bit of pushing here and there but don't over do it. Hope this helps Spencer

Cheers for that spencer. I'm a bit baffled by it myself to be honest! I'll give it a go this weekend trying to correct it. Thanks Scott If at first you don't succeed........skydiving is not for you!
