Thought I should post in the proper place to introduce myself.
I have just returned to modelling after an 18 year break. I have returned with a massive project on the work bench, a 1/350 Tamiya new tool IJN Yamato and IJN utility boat kit to keep me busy for a while. As if that wasnt enough I have also picked up photo etch sets from LionRoar, Pontos and KA Models (MK1).
I am currently just over a month into the build. Recently I was given a Revell USS Voyager for my birthday from SWMBO to start my 'stash' off. I have plans of getting this lit up when I get started.
Been lurking here for a while but thought I would introduce myself properly after signing up for the Millennium falcon subscription.

Thanks for welcome guys.
Im really enjoying my Yamato build. I am currently jumping back and forth in the manual doing lots of different things. I have been at it for about 2 months now and it just seems like not much has been done. I did know when I purchased it and all the Photo Etch that this was going to be a long build.

Sorry to dig up my old intro thread but wasnt to sure where to post this yet as its not quite a kit review I have not decided what I like building at the moment, although everything I have or am building so far I am really enjoying. I have been buying things that I like the look of though and here is the latest addition that I got from a Facebook model sale and swap site. Looks like and amazing kit, the box is massive and yet again it is crammed full of sprues I am starting to get a stash developing

A friend of mine built that Bradley from Meng, he raved about it. I have the Tortoise, I think Meng are going to be a big contender in the model kit market!!!
