Hi everyone, hope you're enjoying the build so far.
I have a question about painting the cannons - I noticed in the photos that they have black lines along the supports that accentuate the red colour scheme. How do you paint the cannons without painting over these black lines? Is it just a matter of finding a fine enough brush or is there a particular technique?
Cheers!

Hi Blag.... It does look as if the lines may be painted in as you say, your best way is to paint the entire carriage in red and once dry use a black or dark brown wash or ink to fill in the lines. Both Citadel and Humbrol do good washes, the Citadel is water based whilst the newer Humbrol ones are enamel but both will do the job. You will need a good quality thin brush, either 0 or 1 would do. I find that both types sometimes need further diluting to work best. Post up some pics to show us how you get on!
