My parts are staying in the original packaging and boxes as my MP4/4 will be an autumn/winter project and I like to build up a stock of parts before starting.

Hi Steve

Any way that suits you really, but it is a good idea to keep them in individual bags to stop them getting damaged.

Washing tablet boxes are good, some people will have a draw of parts, some will have a big box and some will not unpack them until they have all the pars (but most of us are too impatient for this).

A way to inspire the imagination is to simply store them where you are going to display the model, laying tem out where they will eventually go so you can see your model grow over the months. You will see this if you take a look through the MP4/23 build diaries.

I'm storing small parts in a screw box (the type with lots of little compartments) and large parts are in my display cabinet where the finished model will be.

I've got clear plastic storage bins with snap-on lids to keep tools, supplies and parts in. Will also be using plastic zip-loc bags for smaller things.
