Hi!
Next update, I think the pic don´t need any comment BigGrin .
Now issue 95 is finished and, just in time, today the issues 96-100 were in the postbox.
They also contain the first crew member.

Excellent work on the crew member Bernd, the photo unfortunately doesn't give any indication of the size... maybe a photo next to a cent would show up the excellent work even better..... love it....Love Love

Hi!
Here the next update ----- and I´m not happy Angry
I worked a little bit on the main deck and placed the launches. But what´s that - three stands for 2 launches???
Well, the third one is part of the additional issues here in Germany! Sorry, but thats a bad idea of making money.
Then I tried to mount the ship lanterns. Please believe me, I tried everything to do this but it´s absolutely impossible. You know, my english is not very good. I know only one english word for this: waste! There was only one decision for me. I put the original lanterns were they belong (waste bag) and bought some new from a spare part shop.

To be honest "waste" is a good word to use in a forum - you could try "rubbish" for the uk reader. Really feel for your problems but guess what -.for all the issues this kit might have (and with any kit there are always issues) you are doing a real top job of putting this one together.

Try to look in as often as I can and what I see is something really special being made.

Happy modelling

Tony

Hi Tony!
Thank you very much for your kind comment!
I know, modelling means having good day and bad days. But the lantern problem is a general problem.
I´ve seen this in all German forums and I´m sure you will get this in England too. So this shoud be a
warning for the Pearl builders in England for the future.
Perhaps the modellers could come together and make a big order for new lanterns to get a better priceBigGrin

Hi Bernd

Don't let something like bad lanterns but you off your build you have, so far, make a cracking job and I follow your build with interest.

I have also subscribed to the UK version of this build so I will watch out for the lanterns and maybe order some in readiness as a replacement.

Regards

Dave

Greetings Bernd,

I am really enjoying your build. The new lanterns look good. I look forward to seeing how the rest of this build goes.

Will you rig the sails up or down?

Hi Steve!
Thank you very much! Some of the Germen Pearl builders made their own wooden lanterns. Not easy but also a good idea.
