I've finished the giant Aston DB5 and overall I'm pleased with the result.
There are a few 'scale' issues - door window frames far too thick, roof profile not quite right, tyres way over scale....
Also, the interior was just moulded plastic. Mine has been carpeted and re-trimmed with grey leather.
I also heavily modded and added to the engine and engine bay detail (or lack of.)
The worst part of the kit was the atrocious plastic wire wheels. They really were only fit for the bin.
My car now has scale Borrani's with the proper 72 spokes and lacing pattern.

Hope you like it.
I've added a pic of the Aston with Goldfinger's 'other' car....

Roy.

Looks great Roy.

I must admit I was very disappointed with the DB5. Yeah it looks nice in the display cabinet but there are so many 'little' things that spoil it. For example my rear lights don't sit flush any more, I expect I just need to refit them, but it took me so long to get the base on, I can't be bothered to take it all apart!! So I just display mine with all the gadgets out!
